Our Goals
WCREF is a not for profit, non-religious, non-governmental women and children’s human rights organization which works to promote and protect women and children’s rights mainly through improving knowledge and understanding of human rights via religious, statutory and customary laws.
Our Purpose
The main Goals of WCREF include:
- To ensure the promotion and protection of women and children through the various instruments available to political, socio-economic and cultural.
- To research on the various laws, customs, current events that affect the advancement and overall rights of women and children.
- To accommodate the needs of women and children.
- To eliminate all obstacles that restrict women and children from achieving their goals
- To advocate for a society free of discrimination and violence against women and children.
- To network with other agencies and non-governmental organizations that work in the area of improving the lives of women and children.
- To do such other lawful things as may be considered to be incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects or any of them.
